Description
The Outdoor Revolution Cayman DT Low Poled Drive Away Awning creates a generous living or storage area beside low campervans with a rail height of 180–220 cm. Its approximately 3 × 3 metre main room provides useful space for camping furniture, bikes, equipment or an optional two-person sleeping inner.
The Dura-Tech fibreglass pole structure keeps the packed awning relatively compact while providing a stable cross-poled shape. Outdoor Revolution’s Tensile Active ripstop polyester has a 4,000 mm hydrostatic-head rating, while large windows and mesh-backed doors help create a bright and well-ventilated interior.
A fully sewn-in PE groundsheet provides an enclosed floor, with fold-down upstands at the entrances for easier access. The supplied separate footprint sits beneath the awning, helping protect the sewn-in groundsheet from dirt, stones and general campsite wear while making packing away cleaner.
The drive-away tunnel connects to a suitable vehicle awning rail using its 4 mm or 6 mm piping. When you need to use the vehicle, detach the connection and close the tunnel doors; the main awning can remain freestanding on the pitch. A separate drive-away connection kit may be required depending on the vehicle’s rail or attachment system.
The rear opening can accept the optional 2026 Cayman Annexe, while internal hanging points allow the optional Outdoor Revolution two-berth inner tent to be added. Both are sold separately.
Compatibility note: This is a low drive-away awning for vehicles with a 180–220 cm rail height. Please also confirm that your vehicle has sufficient space for the approximately 250 cm-wide awning attachment as well as the chosen attachment method before ordering.
The 4 mm and 6 mm twin piping can connect directly to a compatible rail or to a suitable drive-away kit. Please check the bead size accepted by your vehicle rail, cassette awning or connection kit.
Typical suitable vehicles may include many VW Transporter-sized campervans, Ford Transit Custom conversions, Renault Traffic, Vauxhall Vivaro and similar low campervans, but vehicle model alone does not confirm fit.
