Aztec Leisure, the leading Camping and Caravanning supplies shop in Cornwall, requires additions to our expanding team for the Spring and Summer of 2024.
The successful candidates will be joining an ever-growing business, which prides itself on its fantastic customer service and huge range of stock.
We stock all the latest products from all the top suppliers in Europe such as Vango, Outwell and Kampa.
Selling all a person needs to ensure that they have everything they require for a great holiday, we need individuals who will add to our current team and are willing to work hard, but also want to work in an environment where they feel a valued part of the team.
You will be required to fulfil several roles throughout the store from warehouse to the sales floor and in our Online Sales Department.
Amongst your responsibilities will be
Greeting customers who enter the shop.
Be involved in stock control and management.
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
Stocking shelves with merchandise.
Answering queries from customers.
Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
Dealing with customer refunds.
Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes vacuuming and mopping.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
Help to ensure that the company’s Health and Safety policy is followed at all times.
We have a number of different hourly contracts available up to full time hours, but each candidate must be available to work some weekends and on Bank Holidays.
As the Cornish Holiday season gets busier your working hours will increase.
General working hours are between 0830-1800, based on 5 days worked in 7.
The positions are for March through to September 2024. There are varying start dates available.

This vacancy is particularly suitable for students looking for Summer positions as we can be flexible regarding start dates.
Remuneration will be dependent on age and experience and is above the National Minimum wage rates.
