Description

The Outdoor Revolution Cayman Air High Drive Away Awning provides a generous extra living area for motorhomes and higher campervans with a 255–305 cm rail height. Its approximately 3×3 metre main room gives plenty of useful space for camping furniture, dining, equipment storage or an optional two-person sleeping inner, while the 80 cm connection tunnel provides access between the awning and vehicle.

Outdoor Revolution’s single-inflation Oxygen Air Frame allows the main structure to be inflated quickly from one point using the supplied manual pump. The updated Tensile Active ripstop polyester flysheet has a 4,000 mm hydrostatic-head rating, while Phoenix mesh ventilation, roof ventilation and large PVC windows help keep the living space bright and comfortable.

The awning has a fully sewn-in PE groundsheet to create a cleaner enclosed living space. A separate footprint is also supplied to sit beneath the awning, helping protect the main groundsheet from dirt, stones and abrasion and making packing away cleaner.

As a drive-away awning, the Cayman Air High can remain pitched when you want to use your vehicle. Simply disconnect the connection tunnel from the vehicle and secure the tunnel before driving away, then reconnect when you return to your pitch.

The rear of the awning can also accept the optional Cayman Annexe ORDA1628, while hanging points allow the optional ORBK5600 two-berth inner tent to be added. Both are available separately.

Compatibility

Compatibility note: This is a High drive-away awning designed for vehicles with a 255–305 cm rail height. Please confirm your vehicle's rail height, at least 260 cm of usable connection rail length, and a compatible 4mm or 6mm connection system before ordering. The main awning measures approximately 300×300cm, with an additional 80 cm-deep connection tunnel.

This height range is generally aimed at motorhomes and higher campervan conversions, rather than VW Transporter-size low campervans. Vehicle model alone does not confirm fit, so please measure the actual rail or connection point on your vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle and fitted rail or cassette awning, a separate drive-away connection kit may be required.
