Description

The Outdoor Revolution Cayman Air Mid Drive Away Awning provides a generous extra living area for campervans and motorhomes with a 220–255 cm rail height. Its approximately 3 × 3 metre main room offers useful space for relaxing, dining, storing camping equipment or adding an optional two-person sleeping inner.

The single-inflation Oxygen Air Frame allows the main structure to be inflated from one point using the supplied hand pump. Outdoor Revolution’s Tensile Active ripstop polyester has a 4,000 mm hydrostatic-head rating, while mesh ventilation, roof ventilation and large PVC windows help keep the interior bright and comfortable.

A fully sewn-in PE groundsheet creates an enclosed floor, while the separate included footprint sits beneath the awning to help protect the main groundsheet from dirt, stones and abrasion and to make packing away cleaner.

As a drive-away awning, the Cayman Air Mid can remain freestanding on the pitch when you need to use the vehicle. Disconnect the connection tunnel from the vehicle, secure the rear cowl doors, then reconnect the awning when you return.

The rear zip-out section can also accept the optional Cayman Annexe ORDA1628, while hanging points are provided for the optional ORBK5600 two-berth inner tent. Both are sold separately.

Compatibility

Compatibility note: This is a Mid drive-away awning designed for vehicles with a 220–255 cm rail height. Please confirm your vehicle's rail height, at least 250 cm of usable connection rail length, and a compatible 4 mm or 6 mm connection system before ordering. The main awning measures approximately 300 × 300 cm, with an additional 80 cm-deep connection tunnel.

This height range suits many higher campervans and medium-height conversions, but vehicle model alone does not confirm fit. Please measure the actual rail or connection point on your vehicle.

Depending on the fitted rail or cassette awning, a separate drive-away connection kit may be required.
