Description

The Outwell Forecrest Van Canopy is a lightweight vehicle canopy designed to create quick shelter beside a suitable van, SUV, MPV or estate car.

With a 155–280 cm attachment height and 230 cm roof connection length, it offers a flexible fit across a wide range of vehicles. It can be attached using suction cups or guylines, making it particularly useful where there is no permanent awning rail.

The canopy uses Outtex® 3000 Select CARE polyester with a 3000 mm hydrostatic-head rating and UPF 30+ protection, while anodised aluminium poles keep the overall packed weight down to approximately 3.2 kg.

Because it packs to only around 75 × 32 × 7 cm, the Forecrest is well suited to day trips, beach stops, festivals and touring where you want a quick area of shade or rain cover without carrying a full drive-away awning.

Compatibility

Please check your vehicle before ordering. The Forecrest is designed for vehicles with an attachment height of approximately 155–280 cm and uses a 230 cm roof connection length.

It is not a conventional drive-away awning and does not use a fixed tunnel connection in the same way. The canopy is attached using suction cups or guylines, so vehicle body shape and a suitable clean attachment area should be checked before use.
